Dónal and The Buffalo

from Just Fiddlin' by Gordon McLeod

/

about

This is an original tune that I dreamed after a great night of jamming at The Old Settlers Music Festival near Austin TX. There was a great band performing called Donna The Buffalo, playing some cajun sounding music. Later, in my dream, my good friend Dónal Murphy, the great Irish button accordionist, was playing this tune on his box. When I awoke I immediately grabbed my phone and recorded the first two parts . I added the third part later, As a special treat, Dónal agreed to record it wiht me and our friend Niall Murphy added a second fiddle part.
